About Us

Associated Drugs, Inc. (ADI) was founded in 1946 as a retail druggist in downtown Manila after liberation and pioneered in healthcare products as importer in 1950. It started local production of surgical dressings, packed and sterilized. Subsequently imported hospital, laboratory equipment and supplies until the whole hospital can be supplied and equipped. The young organization succeeded to compete with multi-nationals at the time when healthcare supplies were in the hands of foreign businessmen.

Today, the organization has grown considerably in experience on administration, financial management and technical know-how. Now, we have diversified to various activities like Restaurants, Tourism, Packaging, Agri-business and Real Estate and engaged in new product development.
